The Key Visual of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON 2022

Every year we create a key visual for the current edition of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON. A key visual is a visualisation for an action or an event. This "key visual" is intended to generate emotions and thus create proximity to the action or, in our case, to the event, the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON. The BMW BERLIN-MARATHON is in constant exchange with its community. Therefore, it is absolutely clear to us that our community of runners, skaters, handbiker and wheelchair competitors must be involved in the creation of a new key visual.

The course of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON
As part of the RUN FOR JOY campaign, we asked people to send us digitalised training routes. The ROAD 2 BERLIN LEGEND is just as varied as the individual and unique running routes that you shared that will unite us after diverse paths at the start of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON. The uploaded route data were recorded on a world map, and this created a big picture. The course of the BMW BERLIN-MARATHON is the common interface for all starters. The Brandenburg Gate signals a neuralgic point along the three-lane blue line that leads all participants to the finish. Using the zoom function, you can find any route on our Berlin legend globe - enjoy searching!
